Reflecting on Bright Week

If you tuned into any of the Holy Week and Pascha services at St Tikhon's Monastery, you might have seen Fr Herman. If you didn't see him, you def heard him because he was the choir director for many of the services. He was also one of the liturgical music instructors at St Vlad's when I was there [don't blame him for how I turned out!] But, all that said, here's a great reflection on Bright Week and how it's different than any other week in the liturgical year!

Hieromonk Herman (Majkrzak) reflects on Bright Week. Fr Herman taught liturgical music and was the chapel choir director at St Vladimir’s Seminary from 2010 to 2016. He now teaches liturgics at St Tikhon’s Seminary and oversees the liturgical publications of St Tikhon’s Monastery Press.
